I live in the UK, works full time and love to read. An idea for a story came to me one day and I knew I had to write it. However it didn't happen straight away - it took about 8 months of building up the nerve and then reading the story of a very brave American serviceman who lost part of his leg after serving in Afghanistan. I decided if he could go through so much and still help so many people then I could put on her big girl pants and write a book. So I did, and I'm loving every minute of it.
